ipsy is an innovative fast-growing beauty company headquartered in San Mateo, CA. Machine learning is critical for ipsy to achieve our goal of personalizing all aspects of customer experience. The models we build and deploy affect millions of users. We are looking for excellent Software Engineer who is also familiar with various aspects and workflows of machine learning. You will be developing infrastructure used to build features, train, and deploy custom machine learning models. The ideal candidate should also thrive in a fluid, high-performance entrepreneurial environment with a passion for learning and innovating.

Must-Have Qualifications:

* Strong overall programming ability.
* Working experience of building real-world software in one of the following languages (python / JAVA / Javascript / ruby)
* Working knowledge of SQL
* Working experience of building data pipelines using big data tools (Hadoop/Spark/Airflow)
* Basic understanding of machine learning
* Strong communication skills.
* Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent field.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

* Working experience of building infrastructure to handle large production datasets.
* Working experience of deploying machine learned models into real-world settings.
* Working experience of building scalable Restful API services.
