Job Description

Supports customer logistics requirements through the analysis, organization, planning and administration of various phases of day-to-day inventory activities.

* Acknowledges, documents, validates, and receives government property according to contractual and FAR requirements
* Executes inventory control efforts for company-owned and government-owned property
* Executes cycle counting program for all property.
* Supports and executes annual inventory for assigned property
* Investigate inventory variances to correct on-hand carrying counts and identify root cause to recommend operational changes to eliminate future occurrence.
* Perform quality assurance activities to ensure systematic inventories balance and align between disparate systems
* Executes all necessary inventory changes in contract's inventory management system.
* Supports all inventory control activities preformed on the contract as required.
* Follows established policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control.
* Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
* Participates in special projects as required.

Education

* Bachelor's Degree, with a concentration in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Operations preferred. Military experience will be considered.

Qualifications

* 2-3 years' experience in inventory and asset management
* Knowledge of FAR guidelines to managing property
* Understand the various methodologies of inventory management (FIFO, LIFO, FEFO) and the cost drivers to managing inventory stock
* Candidate must be detail-oriented, a self-starter, and someone who takes initiative with minimal supervision.
