Position Description: The Sr. Business Systems Analyst maintains a global, enterprise-wide viewpoint, supporting the mission and vision of the organization while acting in the best interest of both the IT department and business department(s). The role will encompass the major components of the full project life cycle - requirements review, analysis, design review, set-up, testing and support. He or she will serve to ensure that the delivered solution meets the needs of end users. This position requires a combination of in-depth functional knowledge and general technical proficiency in business applications. Person works closely with business application users. Strong problem-solving skills are required to diagnose and troubleshoot application issues. The analyst would provide functional direction and leadership for application solutions working with all business analysts. In search of a Business Systems Analyst to provide business partners with daily support of Oracle modules and 3rd party applications including, but not limited to, Oracle Value Chain modules (shipping, receiving, inventory, planning, BOM, WIP, etc) as well as Oracle Manufacturing and any associated 3rd party applications.

General Duties:

* Designs and documents solutions by leading requirements gathering and process mapping sessions. Write functional design to optimize technology implementations.
* Develops conceptual and functional specifications
* Works with technical team to design, test and implement overall system functionality.
* Assists business users in testing, application training and documentation.
* Leads IT functional unit testing, integration testing.
* Leads troubleshooting, problem diagnosis and resolution efforts. Performs root-cause analysis.
* Provides application support and user guidance.
* Strives for continuous improvement of business processes and system functionality.
* Participates in development of project plans as required.
* Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.
* Provides continuous production support and works on issues and enhancements.
* Works on all aspects of medium to large projects with little or no supervision. This may include multiple concurrent projects or projects spanning more than one business area.
* Creates testing, training and documentation templates.
* Provides mentoring to other team members and end users as required.
* Assumes a project lead role as required and works with the Strategic Consulting team to take large projects into an operational or production support mode. Participate in post-implementation review to understand formal business feedback and support continuous improvement.
* Own and manage functional changes and non-strategic enhancement requests within the value chain and manufacturing modules.
* May engage other functional areas of the business as necessary.
* Weekend and evening support required as needed.
* Engineers business processes
* Research, analyzes and understands changing technology; identifies how those could be best applied to the Life Fitness environment in the specified functional area
* Execute the defined IT systems strategic direction of business and technology programs for the Value Chain and manufacturing functions.

Specific Duties Pertaining to Oracle Financials:

* Understand and support the Value Chain and Manufacturing functional modules of Oracle EBS, including, but not limited to, Logistics, Planning, Shipping, Receiving, Inventory, BOM, WIP. Assist the business in transformation of business process and systems setups when needed.
* Develop and manage relationships within the Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Engineering business teams.
* Leverage skills within the Oracle Value Chain and Manufacturing modules to extend the business and support strategic projects. Assist with the implementation of on prem and/or cloud solutions, and manage sustainment post-go live.
* Leverage experience to provide insight into the ongoing development of the supply chain and manufacturing operations systems architecture

* Track record of success working with global cross-functionally teams, especially with business and technology initiatives strategies

Job Knowledge/Experience:

* Minimum eight years of progressively responsible experience in implementation and support of Oracle e-Business suite, with concentration in Oracle Value Chain and Manufacturing modules.
* Experience in Oracle r12 - required
* Experience with and/or general understanding of Oracle Cloud Apps and implementation - a plus
* Strong business process definition background.
* Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
* Project Management experience - a plus

Education: Four-year Bachelor's degree
