The Learning & Development (L&D) team seeks a creative and innovative Learning Technologist to serve as a performance consultant to management and an Aeronautics spokesperson for all things related to the learning management system. This driven and self-starting candidate will leverage their strengths to manage the changes involved in implementing a new learning system as well as identifying, troubleshooting and resolving complex learning system issues which will require regular use of their ingenuity and innovation.

Keys to your success will include prior experience and proficiency working with and managing processes within a learning management system and an ability to stay organized and collaborative throughout this intense, fast-paced work environment. Previous success managing large scale complex projects while building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders will elevate your candidacy in this highly regarded role.

Duties will include:

As Lockheed Martin embarks upon implementing a new learning management system in 2020, the successful L&D Learning Technologist will consult across internal and external customers to manage and integrate all learning technologies including supplemental and emerging technologies. You will support change management efforts including end user training, implementation, and evaluation of system platforms and services. You will lead learning content management, quality control, data integrity, change requests, system corrections, auto assignments / un-assignments and batch uploads. Critical for success will be serving as liaison to IT and LMS providers for software and system integration, problem solving and managing upgrades and changes to technical requirements as well as ensuring issues are swiftly communicated and resolved. You will evaluate, select, integrate and manage use of authoring tools to develop digital content objects, programs, and testing / evaluation tools. You will advise on redundancies and automation opportunities as you partner across the business to develop solutions to mitigate risks and enhance performance.

To bridge gaps between employees, information and technology, 20% of your time will also be dedicated to facilitating the curation process to collect content, thereby enabling learners to easily find information critical to support their job performance and professional development. Curation will include finding, sorting, organizing, rating, ranking, recommending, validating, clearing, tracking and personalizing learning content and resources. You will partner with SMEs and content owners to execute Lockheed Martin's Curation Strategy across formal and informal learning platforms of SuccessFactors and JAM (informal learning platform) to curate relevant and meaningful content that can be organized into Collections within the LMS. You will help illustrate the value of our learning platforms and services by analyzing and reporting on content usage patterns and key metrics.

Basic Qualifications

* Previous experience implementing cloud based software systems
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers, partners, leadership peers and program teams with ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
* Experience effectively finding and validating information from a variety of internal and external sources in designated area of expertise
* Demonstrated experience identifying potential risks and opportunities, root cause analysis and problem solving
* Advanced project management skills with experience managing competing demands
* Advanced Microsoft Excel User (formulas, pivot tables, and chart creation) and Access Database Skills
