Responsibilities

Role Purpose

The Salesforce Center of Excellence leader will be a 'hands-on' leader/driver with a strong background in dealing with complex enterprise CRM solutions and issues within both the technical and non-technical realms. You will lead the Salesforce CRM Center of Excellence to provide service excellence for maintenance & support of ongoing operations, delivery of strategic programs and innovation, and enforce world class architecture & design standards.

Responsibilities

* Engage in strategic planning with business and IT stakeholders to provide direction, guidance or recommendations on technology and architectural considerations.
* Engage and influence business and IT leaders to define a project portfolio that will deliver agreed business objectives.
* Manage relationship with Salesforce and other vendor partners that provide technology and services used by the Center of Excellence and stakeholders. Keep abreast of new trends and releases on core platform and marketing products.
* Management and administration of the Salesforce application and add-ons. Act as the product owner for Salesforce.com and own the product vision and roadmap.
* Leverages deep understanding of product engineering, emerging technologies, and technical capabilities to guide and influence stakeholders and teams in developing solutions, build, deployment, testing and ongoing management of technology services.
* Implement strategic enhancements that result in improved productivity, increased efficiencies, and time-saving processes.
* Manage and mentor employees in the Center of Excellence to ensure high quality delivery.
* Oversee and manage all aspects of Salesforce configuration and technical/functional capabilities, including all changes and potential system implications related to the major Salesforce release upgrades (currently scheduled 2-3 times a year).
* Communicate regularly with the Salesforce Business Stakeholders, IT leadership, and other stakeholders to ensure COE services meets business needs and to manage and develop future capabilities/roadmap.
* Maintain familiarity with other IT system/business applications to make recommendations about potential upstream/downstream integration or functionality intersection points.

Qualifications/Requirements

Requirements/Qualifications

10+ years of experience managing Enterprise, CRM, or equivalent technology

5+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, Product Design and/or Solution Architecture with a proven record of building great enterprise applications

Demonstrated experience with cloud/PaaS technologies & cloud integration tools

Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred.

Desired Characteristics

Demonstrated Salesforce platform experience, Salesforce Consultant certification, or desire to become certified

Media and Entertainment Experience

Strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives.

Excellent communication skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences.

Must possess strong organizational skills and pay close attention to detail.
