Overview:

The Lead System Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of applications specifically on POC Powersuite platform. This position is for a hands-on system engineer who will utilize their experience optimizing applications and solutions for internal and external clients to address application support issues and enhance the POC Powersuite platform based on business user requirements.

Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement enhancements to POC systems
* Design and establish metrics, measures, and dashboards for monitoring and management of process.
* Utilize experience optimizing applications and solutions for internal and external clients
* Identify opportunities for efficiency and automation that enhance the POC application suite
* Provide ongoing support for POC applications, with a focus on Powersuite platform
* Adhere to support and development processes, standards, metrics, monitoring and reporting to ensure supporting business achieving business outcomes and objectives
* Update and create documentation (Business Process Designs, Functional Designs)
* Develop relationships with other Vistra work teams to aide in problem solving and work execution

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited college/university (or equivalent experience)
* 4 years of development experience; experience in Cloud & Containers (Kubernetes), preferred.
* Experience with SQL query tools and relational databases.
* Must possess enterprise application development experience using Java/J2EE.
* Hands-on Dev-Ops experience; especially with Jenkins based CI/CD pipeline preferred.
* Must possess hands-on project experience in Spring, Hibernate/JPA, Angular Framework.
* Be available to support off hours, including weekends as needed.
