CGI is seeking a Lead Software Tester (SCADA) who is responsible for development of test strategies, plans, scripts, and cases on a large, complex program. Testing includes functional, non-functional, user acceptance, integration, and performance tests. Ensures traceability of test cases back to requirements. Will support the QA team to execute the test execution portion of the project, reporting to the Project Manager. This includes test execution planning, test environment planning, status reporting, defect tracking, and vendor coordination. Role may require some hands-on test execution.

This position can be located in either Denver, CO or Minneapolis, MN.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Summary of Responsibilities:

* Manage the testing program for ADMS Implementation in one Operating Company
* Includes several phases of testing associated with several releases and several test types (examples are Site Acceptance, Performance, and UAT)
* Accountable for managing test resources during parallel testing activities
* Prioritizes testing and defect patching requirements during development
* Oversees test schedule, project plans and day to day operations
* Provides reporting and timely read outs to leadership
* Develops test plans and coordinates test case development and execution
* Collaborates closely with multiple departments (IT, Operations) as appropriate
* Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must have a strong understanding of IT, OT (SCADA) and working in a Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) environment

~Demonstrated experience managing a complex testing effort.

~Minimum 5 years of test lead experience, with participation on projects with a $5M project budget or greater.

~Experience in coordinating testing in large multi-platform environments involving complex integrations and geographically dispersed teams.

~Experience developing structured test plans and detailed test cases through analysis of complex business and technical requirements and high level design deliverables.

~Ability to prioritize testing based on risk.

~Experience in QA Process Development

~Experience mentoring others in QA best practices.

~Experience with Structured Test Planning, QA Tracking software - Rational experience preferred.

~Experience working within the utility or energy industry and with OT technologies such as SCADA.

~Experience in Organizational Change Management (OCM) a plus.

~Experience in training development and administration a plus.

~Minimal travel is required.
