Position Overview:

The Lead Software Engineer will be a key member of an agile product development team implementing cloud-native web applications and microservices using the latest Internet technologies. In addition, this person will be a hands-on leader, mentoring other team members as well as providing strategic direction to the team.

Responsibilities:

* Lead a team of software engineers creating innovative cloud-native solutions.
* Help define and participate in software development processes that support continuous product delivery.
* Implement clean, consistent, and elegant code while delivering clear business value.
* Facilitate design and code reviews.

Qualifications (Position Skill Set):

* 8+ years of full-stack software engineering.
* Expert knowledge of OO and functional programming languages.
* Experience with the following technologies:
* Node.js and React.js
* Java and Spring-Boot
* NoSQL and RDBMS
* AWS (EC2, ECS, S3)
* GitHub, Jenkins, & Docker


* Must possess exceptional communication and documentation skills, with a strong knowledge of agile software development processes.
* Background in medical devices, life sciences, healthcare, or another regulated industry preferred.

Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.
