Description of Duties

MCR is looking for a self starting Schedule Lead who can lead agile program management efforts in support of state of the art space program developments. You will develop, maintain, and update program schedule baselines and reports for space systems software and hardware capabilities and services.

* Support large and small projects/programs by working closely with Government project leads and major stakeholders to develop project schedules and integrated master schedules (IMS)


* Maintain schedules throughout the project life cycle while tracking changes and reporting schedule element disconnects


* Apply project management principles and practices, including EVM, to develop program and acquisition schedules


* Employ concepts such as integrating schedules into a master project schedule; resource loading; and schedule base-lining


* Develop earned value reporting to include earned value performance measurements such as Schedule Performance Index (SPI), Estimate at Completion (EAC), and Estimate to Complete (ETC)


* Calculate schedule variances (SV) for project activities and perform variance identification and analysis


* Conduct Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA) and document analysis results


* Provide recommendations and brief results to Government leaders to enable decision-making



Basic Qualifications

* Master's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Date Analytics, or Engineering. We will consider an equivalent combination of education and experience.


* 10+ years of DoD, Intelligence Community, or Space Scheduling Experience


* 5 years' experience in MS Project, MS Office, Crystal Ball, and @Risk


* Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate the results of evaluations and analysis


* MS-Windows and MS-Office applications expertise


* US Citizenship is required


* Able to attain an active Secret clearance



Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with earned value management tools


* Agile software development and/or rapid acquisition initiatives experience
