The MITRE Naval Division is focused on delivering innovative concepts, technologies and methodologies that enable current and future Naval superiority. Our Naval work program has a broad and dynamic set of projects that focus on research engineering, systems engineering, agile acquisition, cyber security, experimentation, prototyping. * Collaborate closely with our customers and our team to identify critical problems and needs of the Navy and develop approaches to address them


* Contribute by applying engineering skills, experience and domain knowledge in performing analysis resulting in innovative solutions and well-informed recommendations that drive the Navy's most critical decisions


* Provide leadership both as a technical thought leader and functionally leading projects, tasks and teams delivering capabilities and solutions to the customer


* Collaborate across the organization in order to leverage diverse thought and solutions to our customers problems



Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in one of the following disciplines, Electrical, Computer or Systems Engineering or similar field and 8 years related experience.
* Possess the ability to define projects or programs greater than themselves.
* Responsible for work and/or customer relationship development and will acts according to-and guides others toward-the proper balance of a) product depth with timeliness and b) technical improvements with programmatic constraints, even when hard compromises are required.
* Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or applicants who are eligible for security clearances

Required Qualifications:

* Our group seeks talented individuals with an analytical background drawn from one or more of the following areas:


* Cyber Security (Operations and/or Systems Security Engineering)


* Domain Modeling and Simulation and Analysis (Operations Research)


* Electronic Warfare Systems Engineering and Analysis


* Navy Combat and C4I Systems


* Autonomous Systems (particularly Unmanned Under Sea (UUS) technologies)


* Surface and/or Undersea Warfare Techniques, Tactics, Procedures and Technologies


* Demonstrated experience in performing impactful analytical work


* Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and impactful (oral and written)


* Ability to work in a culture that values strong technical achievers, collaborative work style and continuous learning


* Scientific/Engineering Educational Background


* Possess and maintain a Top Secret level security clearance



Preferred Qualifications:

* BS and 10 years of related experience


* Substantial Experience working with the Navy


* Recognized by senior management as a thought leader
