Job Description

This is a Lead Software Engineering position supporting the Provider Contracting and Credentialing capability within the Provider Systems domain. As a Software Engineering Lead you will partner with business and software delivery leadership to deliver technology solutions in accordance with our 3 year roadmap that will act as a guide for achieving the long term strategic goals of the enterprise. As a lead you will not only act as an individual contributor but also help oversee and guide the development of solutions across the agile delivery team(s). Individual will support our global delivery model and work with both U.S. and India based team members to build end-to-end solutions in accordance with business defined features and functionality specific to the Provider Contracting and Credentialing capability.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Perform as a lead and a member of an agile scrum team to support development and delivery of technology solutions / software for the business.
* Develop software using Java Technology Stack (Java 8 , Spring Boot, Angular, React, etc.)
* Familiar with Docker and OpenShift technologies using Jenkins CI/CD pipeline as code
* Contribute to the software design of product features, and implement user stories
* Implement software best practices such as logging, log aggregation, monitoring, swagger, etc.
* Review and accept Pull Requests as part of the code merge & deployment process
* Partner with Advanced technology teams to implement AI technologies involving NLP and ML
* Partner with DevOps teams on resolving code defects, and continuous improvement of the code
* Drive the team and collaborate to meet project timelines in a sprint
* Lead software architecture designs and build application level architecture diagrams for the engineering team
* Mentor and guide other engineers within the team

Required Qualifications:

* 10 years in the software engineering profession
* 5 years' experience with Java technology development stack (Java 8 and higher, Spring Boot, Avro Schema, Cucumber, etc.)
* 4 years hands-on expertise with building Micro Services
* Experience with using modern technology stack like Docker, Open Shift, and leverage Jenkins to build full integrated CI/CD pipelines
* Experience with Cloud solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with AWS, Kafka
* Experience with Serialization, and Apache Avro Schemas
* Experience with Agile Central (aka Rally)
