Job Details:

Associate's Degree Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), the Lead IT Systems Engineer IT Systems Engineer provides functional support of IT Systems Engineers, overseeing desktop operations, application support for users on critical applications, basic administration of Active Directory, setting up and supporting of Video conference equipment when needed as well as project based work. Performs desktop moves, adds and changes as required. Maintain IT Inventory System and helpdesk ticketing system. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Includes the Following: 1. Understands and adheres to the WPH Performance Standards, Policies and Behaviors. Directs workflow of IT Systems Engineers to help build out, maintain, and troubleshoot our rapidly expanding infrastructure. Responsible for the oversight of the scheduling for IT Systems Engineers. Demonstrate superb technical competency. Delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security. Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure. Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability. Identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes. Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks. Participate in the design of information and operational support systems. Provide 2nd and 3rd level support. Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution. Oversee development and maintenance of computer systems. Identify departmental needs and make suggestions regarding technical direction. Configure and install computer systems for other organizations. Analyze users' needs. Strong Windows 7 (64 bit) Build and OSX, deploy and maintain desktops, laptops (Windows and Mac). . Experience supporting and troubleshooting typical office applications like MS Office Basic administration of the Active Directory. Support for PC hardware, Apple iPads and iPhones and other emerging technologies as identified. Coordinate and support all user relocations. Ability to set up and/or troubleshoot Ethernet and wireless connection issues. Installation and configuration of network printers Acting as a liaison between third party vendors and users to ensure proper configuration of vendor supplied applications. Travel to offsite locations to provide desktop support. 26. Performs all other related duties as assigned. Education & Experience Requirements · Associates Degree Required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. · A combination of experience, education, and/or training which substantially demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of operations, services and activities of a comprehensive hospital information technology program · Three to Five years analytical experience pertaining to the design, development, implementation, operation and maintenance of a large and complex information system within a hospital setting.. Any hazardous chemicals the employee may be exposed to are listed in the hospital's SDS (Safety Data Sheet) data base and may be accessed through the hospital's Intranet site (Employee Tools/SDS Access). A copy of the SDS data base can also be found at the hospital switchboard, saved on a disc. · Must have good coordination, stamina, ability to lift, push, pull, bend, stoop, walk, etc. for extended periods of time. · Ability to move about the office. · Constantly operates computers and other office equipment as required. · Ability to travel to and from different hospital offsite locations with minimal notice · Must be able to adapt to a high stress environment with frequent interruptions · Frequent exposure to computer noise.
