Job Description

Are you ready to be part of something new, amazing, and growing rapidly? In this Lead Engineer - Test Automation role on the PeopleScout product technology team, you will be designing and implementing quality test automation for Affininx, our Award-Winning mobile-optimized, cloud-based platform that delivers an integrated candidate experience and streamlines the sourcing and recruitment process. Affininx delivers speed and scalability while leveraging artificial intelligence, recruitment marketing, machine learning, predictive analytics and other emerging technologies with a one-point applicant tracking system, vendor management system integration and single-sign-on.

As a Lead Engineer - Test Automation working within our agile teams, you will be developing, testing and deploying test automation framework code and application tests while also growing and mentoring other team members, both on-site and off-shore. This hands-on role calls for your experience in developing and deploying test automation framework and tests scaling up to thousands of tests. You must be very comfortable implementing API and UI test automation frameworks such as Postman, Rest-Assured, and Selenium in an enterprise-scale Java / J2EE environment. You must have solid knowledge of enterprise SOA design patterns in REST. You will also be integrating with AWS platform services such as API Gateway, SQS, ECS/EKS and Aurora PostgreSQL. It is equally important for you to understand modern software development practices such as TDD and CI/CD.

You are perfect for this role if you have many of these skills and qualifications:

* 6+ years hands on test automation development experience at enterprise scale
* Strong knowledge of API and UI test automation frameworks
* Knowledge and experience working with PostgresSQL or equivalent
* Experience testing APIs and familiar with common SOA design patterns with REST web services
* Experience testing in public cloud platforms (AWS) and PAS such as API Gateway, SQS, SNS, Aurora PostgresSQL, and Lambdas
* Experience in integrating testing into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
* Experience with rapidly delivering products features to production in an agile environment
* Experience testing enterprise applications that support enterprise traffic volumes
* Exposure to modern software practices such as TDD, CI/CD, etc. is required
