Role: Lead DevOps Engineer

Location: Charlotte, NC

Account - AIG

Rate - $75 C2C Hourly (No Visa restrictions / $110K (For FT only GC/USC)

Lead DevOps Engineer

The Lead DevOps Engineer is responsible for supporting the day-to-day development operations, build CI/CD systems using tools like Rally, GitHub, Jenkins, Sonar, Build tools, XL deploy, ECS, Docker and AWS

Key Responsibilities

* Design, lead and build an automated deployment tool set and infrastructure including environments, code management, CI and CD process
* Help define and set best practices for code management, build, deploy and release across multiple teams/products in CI /CD model using ECS, Docker and AWS.
* Work closely with the software development team and other functional groups to develop and provide a robust, flexible and scalable platform

Skills and Requirements

* 7+ Years of Experience as Devops Engineer in creating CI/CD pipelines for various technologies.
* Code management best practices such as branching, merging, and integration strategies.
* 3+ Years of experience in Containerization platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes.
* 3+ years of experience in using Amazon services like AMIs,Route53,VPC,EC2,EFS,ELB,ALB,SES,CloudWatch,ECS,EMR,Datapipelines,Lamda etc.
* 3+ years of experience in using at least one of the configuration management tools like Chef,Puppet or Ansible.
* 2+ years of experience in PCF.
* 2+ years of experience in using Terraform or Cloud formation.
* 2+ years of administrative proficiency on Windows, Unix systems Linux (CentOS, or other flavor)

Exceptional scripting experience (Groovy, Python, etc.)
