Job Description

MITRE's Intelligence Technologies Department is looking for a data management expert with a desire to work on innovative advanced approaches and technologies to solve our sponsors' most critical technological problems.

Provide enterprise level vision, strategy, and technical expertise for data management initiatives, investments, and activities in a multi-agency environment.

As part of a MITRE-Government team, contribute to the development and evaluation of enterprise standards, policy, governance, and coordination of data assets across the enterprise.

You have an opportunity to use your technical and strategic planning background in partnership with government leaders, to define the next generation of enterprise-level data and analytics strategy, and to develop mission, strategy, communication, and evaluation plans.

Key Functions: Assist in the definition and implementation of enterprise-wide data strategy, policies, controls, and programs to ensure the enterprise data are accurate, complete, secure, and reliable.

Required Qualifications:

B.S. in Information Technology, Information Security, Data Analysis and Management, or related fields; TS/SCI Polygraph; and 8+ years' experience in strategic planning, writing and briefing skills for varied audiences (Executives, Program Managers, Analysts). Customer engagement experience in a multi-agency, team environment. Direct experience as a leader or team member working in or with the Intelligence Community collection, analysis, or information technology domains to develop policy, roadmaps, or strategy documents.

Preferred Qualifications:

Able to respond and deliver products to customer-driven deadlines, while maintaining a clear focus on long-term customer and MITRE objectives. Demonstrated skills in working closely with a wide range of senior leaders to understand and contribute solutions for their mission needs and cultures.

Certification as a Data Management Professional (CDMP)from DAMA

Direct experience implementing data governance and data quality programs.

Able to translate complex technical concepts into clear communication for non-technical audiences, work in a collaborative environment, and adjust to changing deadlines and priorities to accomplish the customer's mission.

Demonstrated ability to lead teams, motivate and guide staff.
