What is the opportunity?

The position provides cyber security consultancy in support of the T&O Cloud team. The cloud consultant will also be expected to provide support to Innovation and Technology teams and to Solutions Architecture and Innovation.

Responsible for interaction with the Cloud T&O Exec and his/her their broader teams. In partnership with the Cloud Executive and management team the security consultant should identify where to direct and prioritize consulting capabilities to focus on 'where it matters most'.

The Cloud consultant is responsible for providing, an enabling, effective and professional cyber consulting service. The consultant must ensure the lead consultant to whom he/she reports has sufficient visibility and is provided with key management information to support their role in leading the portfolio is successful (team success). Core consulting services are defined within the cyber security consulting catalogue. The core service from the consultant is provision of security design reviews with priority focus on high and medium risk projects. The AWS cloud consultant is expected to think outside of legacy processes, continuously self-develop to ensure a high level of technical currency and regularly insert and push through adoption of thought leadership. The consultant should also be able to have a comprehensive understanding of the portfolio they support, demand management and services required. What will you do?

Must Have:

* A range of technical and cyber security cloud (AWS) qualifications and certifications (SISSP/CISM/ ISACA, CSA approved certifications together with other cyber security bodies or technical qualifications are considered most relevant and experience in AWS cloud security, architecture and security operations
* Experienced in cyber security consulting for large projects/programs (ideally expertise operating in Scaled Agile Frameworks and Agile projects) in addition to Cloud Architecture and AWS certifications
* IT Methodologies - CISSP, SABSA, TOGAF, OWASP
* Knowledge of Cyber Security Frameworks - NIST, CObIT, CSF, SANS, and in particular knowledge of cloud security frameworks and of cloud platforms (CCSK, CCM, AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure) - with platform specific expertise or knowledge base
* Agile SCRUM methodologies, Cloud security control assessments and cloud native risk and control toolkits and services
* SecDevOps, Security architecture reviews, IAM principles, tooling and concepts
* Data security principles, tooling and concepts, Competent at reviewing architectural designs, data flows and patterns, Security user stories in AGILE design at concept and initiation stage
