Description

Duties and responsibilities Summary:

SAIC is currently looking for Cyber Analysts to support launch system SE&I activities for the Launch Enterprise (LE) Directorate at SMC. This position is located at Los Angeles AFB, CA. Key aspects of this oversight will include the following:

Support the Cybersecurity program, providing assessments of contractor cyber implementations and providing status and recommendations to customers

Job Specific Responsibilities:

Support a Government-approved enterprise Cybersecurity program in accordance with DoDI 8510.01 - Risk Management Framework (RMF) and DoD 8570.01M - Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program

Assist in executing the program cyber goals and objectives.

Review and assess the Prime contractor IA certification programs

Report, track, and document problems; monitor progress of unresolved problems; and present updates of system status

Notify the Government of any deviations from requirements and provide recommendations for resolution

Required Qualifications & Experience

Clearance level: DoD Secret; TS/SCI desired

Participated with senior managers to establish plans and objectives

Ability to recommend/make decisions on administrative or project work matters and ensures effective achievement of program, project, or organizational objectives

Desired Education and Years of Experience

Bachelors and nine (9) years or more of related experience

Alternatives:

Masters and seven (7) years or more of related experience

PhD or JD and four (4) years or more of related experience

Desired Certifications

Security+ and CISSP Certification

Desired Qualifications and Experience

Work proficiently on unusually complex technical problems and provide solutions which are highly innovative and ingenious

Desired Technology Experience

Launch Vehicles and Subsystems (Avionics, Propulsion, Structures)

Space and Ground systems

Launch Site Systems
