Job OverviewIn Wireless R&D (WR&D), we are working on building the cutting edge end-to-end prototype systems for 5G NR. These will be used not only to prove out new 5G ideas and features but also to provide a platform for early demonstrations and early IODTs with top tier infrastructure vendors and operators around the world. We are looking for a self-starter and motivated individual who wants to take his/her cellular experience to the next level. You will be contributing to the latest ideas and developments in mobile wireless and working with world leading experts to shape the future of wireless communication.Responsibilities will include developing L2 modules like PDCP, RLC, MAC for the 5G air interface and/or L3 control plane entities such as RRC/RRM, NGC/NAS/GW/Data Services. You will be working on either SDX50 based UE platform or Xilinx FPGA + D3K + multi-core Linux host based gNB platform. Your initial assignment will focus on the Trial Quality Stand Alone 5G feature set for the Operator trials.All Qualcomm employees are expected to actively support diversity on their teams, and in the Company.Minimum Qualifications

* 2+ years Software Engineering or related work experience.
