Altamira is currently looking for an Entry Level Software Engineers to join our Team at our headquarters in McLean, VA

The Entry Level Software Engineer assists in the design, development, troubleshooting and analysis of software programs for computer based systems. Performs software development activities. Provides inputs for documentation of new or existing programs. Requires knowledge in a variety of software development platforms, programming languages, and software design methods, techniques, and tools.

Requires a BA/BS degree in an applicable field.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

* Object Oriented software design in C++, Java, or Python
* Agile development methodology and able to work within an Agile team
* Amazon AWS
* Familiar with Test automation tools and system level debugging
* Follow software documentation practices
* Participate in code peer reviews and thrive in a team environment

Candidate must be a US Citizen, and eligible for a US Security Clearance
