Job Description

Publishers Clearing House (PCH) is looking for a self-motivated, eager college student to join our team as a Junior Developer Intern at our Jericho, NY office. The Junior Developer Intern will help implement technologies and frameworks on .Net projects and web applications.

Responsibilities:

* Design, develop and implement .Net technology (hands-on coding)
* Collaborate and interface with marketing leads, product owners and technology teams to help drive technology approach and solutions within an Agile/Scrum framework
* Apply Agile best practices such as TDD, CI, Automation Deployments, Unit Testing, Test Automation, Pair Programming etc. with training and guidance from a supervisor
* Work with team on infrastructure and release deployments/instructions
* Attend daily Scrum stand-up meetings
* Track tasks in Sprint Burndown daily
* Various research projects and ad-hoc reports as needed

Required Skills/Experience:

* College student pursuing a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
* Experience with programming languages, Java, PHP and .Net
* Experience with web development skills, HTML, Javascript and CSS
* Familiarity working with APIs,: Facebook, Twitter, Google APIs, AWS, etc.
* Experience in developing in native iPhone or Android apps a plus
* Preferred experience with SQL, MongDB and CouchDB
* Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
