Gunnison is seeking a dedicated team member to numerous teams in support of a massive data program with our client largest client.

Location: Suitland, MD - Easily Accessible by car or Metro, free parking. Work from home available 1 day per week.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

* Work closely with the client to understand product specifics and to create corresponding test strategies
* Design and develop manual test scenarios
* Create defect and test coverage reports
* Contributes to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork within the organization
* Run test validations at various levels including DB validation, logging validation, and UI validation

Job Requirements

* 2+ years of QA Experience
* Ability to pass a US Government Background investigation (national agency check, Secret or TS not required).
* Strong understanding of QA methodology and the Software Development Life-cycle
* Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and debugging skills
* Experience in creating test scenarios
* Demonstrated ability to trace requirements changes to test cases and test scripts
* Demonstrated ability of tracking and reporting software defects
* Strong team player capable of working hands on with developers
* Must be a team player and have excellent written and oral communication skills
* Must be flexible in working with team members at all levels of experience

Education

* BS degree in Computer Sciences or related field (an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience may be considered), or equivalent work experience
