This team's primary focus is implementing technology solutions in Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Business Process Management (BPM), Enterprise Search, and custom development. As a Technical Consultant, you will be involved in designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting application software that is delivered on time and within budget. Perficient currently has a career opportunity for an Jr. Level Java Consultant in our New York office. Must be local or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

* Collaborate with business analysts to model business processes for automation.
* Design and Implement integrations with different enterprise / business systems.
* Develop and implement content management taxonomy.
* Develop and implement Business Process workflows and User Interfaces.
* Design and implement business rules.
* Obtain and evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required and costs.
* Participate in software system testing and validation procedures, programming and documentation.
* Provide technical advice and assist in solving programming problems.
* Write and/or review system specifications, including output requirements and flow charts.
* Review test results, document test activities, and record remedial actions.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in a technology related discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Information Technology, or Operations Research).
* Excellent programming skills using high-level languages (e.g. Java, JavaScript or C++)
* Strong background in web technologies (e.g. HTML5, CSS and JavaScript)
* Experience with at least one of the JavaScript based frameworks or libraries (e.g. JQuery, AngularJS, or ExtJS) would be beneficial.
* Experience working with relational databases (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server) with solid command on SQL.
* Must possess strong analytical skills.
* Strong verbal and communication skills
