As a Jr. Front End Web Developer , you will contribute significantly to the System Development team and not only provide necessary and useful deliverables to internal and external constituents, but you will also ensure that all deliverables are sufficient, compliant, accurate and reliable.Are you passionate about building e-commerce direct to consumer websites? At Ria Digital we are using cutting edge technology to allow our customers to do money transfers (and more) online. The Front-end Web Software Engineer will be developing on Ria Digital's new web site and web services. This includes enhancing existing features but also developing new innovative features that will allow our site and services to compete with the biggest names in our industry globally. Ria already processes millions of transactions a month internally and via direct partnership with Walmart and is increasing daily as Ria is experiencing tremendous growth and establishing relationships with some of the largest companies both domestically and overseas.

Our team has already implemented new technologies to help us achieve these goals including our new Source Management (TFS) implementation, Azure infrastructure and more. This role will also be developing with the latest languages / frameworks including Visual Studio IDE, .NET 4.0+, ASP.MVC 5+, Web API 2, ReactJS and more.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Working in an Agile environment to create the next version of our products (full stack development)
* Create responsive site layouts / user interfaces from provided UX design concepts
* Develop middle-tier modules involving intrinsic business logic, algorithms and workflows revolving around payment processing, identity verification and more
* Integrate with 3rd party APIs to add and extend functionality of software
* Develop and optimize back end data access code (T-SQL development)
* Analyze existing services to determine new ways of providing functionality to our customers
* Stay current with the digital payments / e-commerce landscape and development technologies

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

* A college degree in Computer Science or equivalent job experience
* 2+ years of web application development experience with 1+ years' experience in a high transaction volume environment
* Proven and established .NET experience in C# Object-Oriented Design and Programming
* Experience with restful web services via the HTTP protocol, JSON and web authentication
* Hands-on with SQL Server stored procedure development, localization and unit testing
* Experience with cross-browser, front-end development (HTML, CSS) and JavaScript libraries including but not limited to Angular, ReactJS, jQuery, Bootstrap, etc.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
