Surgical Directions' Junior Developer reports to an Engagement Manager. In this position, you will develop and manage infrastructure applications, projects, and processes. The position is responsible for creating, analyzing, and communicating data and comparative benchmarks to clients and the Company alike. Additionally, this role will assist in the development and maintenance of applications that measure operational, financial, and clinical performance metrics.

This person must be technically and analytically advance and capable of communicating technical concepts to lay audiences. This person must also work well in a team-based environment to support the needs of other consultants, analysts, clinicians, and executives.

Responsibilities

* Design and implement build, deployment, and configuration management for software tools
* Test implemented designs
* Build and test automation tools for infrastructure
* Handle code deployments in all environments
* Monitor metrics and develop ways to improve
* Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on development and operations
* Brainstorm new ways to improve development processes and delivery time
* Consult with peers for feedback during testing stages
* Maintain day-to-day management and administration of projects
* Document and design various processes; update existing processes
* Improve infrastructure development and application development
* Follow all best practices and procedures as established by the company
* Ensure all data elements are collected from the client in a timely and efficient manner
* Build internal consensus and roll out new methodologies, templates, and/or other deliverables under the direction of Company's leadership team
* Participate in Company's seminars and tradeshows and other business development activities as directed
* Provide assistance to other in-office staff members as needed and approved by Supervisor
* Function as a point of contact & subject matter expert with clients for data-related needs
* Establish trusted relationships with clients
* Produce high quality and timely client deliverables
* Present deliverables at client site meetings
* Adhere to the company's core values
* Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or requested
* May be required to complete work assignments and provide occasional client onsite support before and/or after normal business hours dependent on client deadlines and other staff commitments

Qualifications

Education Level: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent required

Experience Years: 1-3 year's related experience and/or training preferred

Experience Industry: Healthcare Consulting

Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.

Must be willing to travel up to 80% based on client demand.
