PROLIM Global Corporation (www.prolim.com) is currently seeking IoT Solution Architect for location Farmington Hills, MI for one of our top Client.

Job Description:

* Customer Facing Role in the area of IoT dealing with Solutions and Product Management. Solutions are in the space of IoT for industries such as Manufacturing, Construction, Retail, Automotive, Energy and Consumer.
* Interact with potential customers to understand business problems, operations bottlenecks, process limitations, customer sentiments and come up with a well-defined problem statement that can be taken towards solution's using various IoT levers.
* The job involves participating actively in the solutions framework with the solution architects to create the best value for customers.
* The job also involves owning up a solution / customer / market vertical and playing the Product Management and Product Marketing role. This necessitates market research, voice of customer, business case creation, business model analysis, market / customer solution validation etc.
* Represent the organization in conferences, take up speaker roles, panel representation etc.
* Work jointly with colleagues in horizontal divisions at Client's various worldwide locations.
* Provide technical direction for the design, development and system integration in the area of IoT solution development from definition phase through implementation in a nimble, startup like environment.
* Participate in developing proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs) with engagement or Project team managers and Subject Matter Experts; develop estimates and work-breakdown; work scope for make-buy decision including developmental items.
* Support the Sales Team as the Technical Lead in pre-sales consultation meetings and lead the overall technical solution in customer support and responding to RFIs / RFPs.
* Assist in the evaluation of new solutions for integration into the IoT Roadmap/Strategy.
* Travel flexibility within the country and outside country is expected.

Qualification Required:

* Masters of Science or Bachelors of Science/Technology/Engineering
* 3+ years of job experience in software architecture and development.
* Minimum 3 years of hands- on experience in developing end- to- end IoT applications that are comprised of cloud- based applications and services, web applications, data analytics, wireless communication systems, embedded sensors and devices along with mobile App

Preferred Skills:

* TOGAF certified Enterprise Architect preferred
* Should be familiar with pay-per-use business models and derive suitable software architectures
* Experience in Engineering and IT as technical architect role developing large-scale systems based on complex integration solutions and server/ cloud based web application
* Good experience in multiple cloud platforms, especially from Device and Enterprise architecture integration design and implementation perspectives
* Good understanding of drivers for edge sensors, device provisioning and protocols, sensor to gateway/cloud connectivity solutions
* Strong technical troubleshooting and performance analyzing on issues during the implementation/ support
* Experienced in designing and implementing concepts of micro services architecture
* Hands-on experience in Cloud computing platforms, Design patterns, API design and Platform development.
* Strong development knowledge in any of .Net, java,
* Open standards technologies good knowledge of secure software architecture and development methodologies
* Knowledge of DevOps concepts, tools and technology landscape and should be able to implement and guide the team in your responsible area.
* Experience with cloud foundry and Client IoT Cloud will be an advantage
* Should have passion for technology and are always aware of the current market developments and trends regarding digital business and IoT.
* Should be a team player, accustomed to work in a self-motivated and target-oriented manner with an entrepreneurial mindset.
* Strong analytical skills and ability to quickly absorb customer requirements and translate into technical solutions
