Position Summary:

In this position, the Sr. Java Developer should be hands on designing, developing, and debugging software within a project scope ensuring that the final product meets end user acceptance criteria. The candidate must have a solid development background across multiple technical disciplines including J2EE web application development, Java client/server development, and Database Development.

Responsibilities:

* Design, code and unit test the most complex software components for new or enhanced IT systems to a high level of quality, producing appropriate documentation
* Lead team-wide designs and review codes
* Troubleshoot issues and perform periodic tasks required for the ongoing functionality of the software applications

Job Requirements

Requirements/Qualifications:

* 10+years of Java developing experience
* Bachelor's degree required - preferably in Computer Science or IT related engineering
* Extensive experience in Java development (with a strength in Coding Java)
* Extensive experience in Java Scripting, Web Frameworks (React or Angular), Spring REST Service
* Experience with Full J2EE stack, Configuring Spring Framework, Core Java, JDBC, JSP/Servlets, jQuery, HTML5Software development experience using microservice
* Working knowledge of using Maven, GIT, JIRA, Confluence
* Strong oral and written communications skills with ability to create software design and engineering documents
* DB Modeling and Strong SQL skills are preferred
* Travel up to 50% to various customer sites required
