Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for "Java Technical Manager" who could join in our team of IT professionals in our projects in San Francisco, CA. Role: Java Technical Manager

Work location: San Francisco, CA

Experience: 10 - 15yrs

Skills required: Java enterprise architecture experience, advanced Java concepts, solutions & design level, Springs, Microservices & Cloud services

Mandatory Skills:

Must have skills:

* Java Architect / Technical Manager experience in the range of 10-15yrs Computer Engineering Background
* Hand's on architecting and coding solution experience in Core Java, Java 8, Microservices, Spring boot and REST WS
* Experience working in Spring Framework
* Knowledge of PL/SQL or any NoSQL

Nice to Have:

* Knowledge of MongoDB or Cassandra
* Knowledge of SpringBoot
* If you are a full stack engineer, then experience in HTML 5, Css3, Angular or React
* Experience in Test Driven Development and Agile
* Knowledge of Kafka or any messaging system

Key Responsibilities:

* ? The person has to have skills relevant for System Architecture/Technical Manager role managing Java / J2EE projects
* ? Experience developing Strategic System Architecture plans
* ? Extensive experience in system and network creation and development
* ? Experience providing guidance and leadership to novice system engineers
* ? Proven experience identifying, analyzing and resolving system problems
* ? Ability to interact with other external systems to define LLD/ICDs for the system
* ? Experience working with APIs/Micro Services
* ? Should be proficient in Java/Oracle from a skill set perspective
* ? Self motivated and Self learner with limited dependency on additional support
* ? Conduct research on emerging technologies to support system development effort and be able to propose architecture solutions that are directional with organization's bigger goal
* ? Where applicable, design, develop and oversee system integration
