We are currently seeking a Java Micro Services Architect for our client in the Consulting domain. Role: Java Micro Services Architect

Primary Skills: Java

Role Description: The Java Micro Services Architect would need to have at least 12+ years of experience.

Desired Experience and Skills:

* 10+ years of industry experience in Java/J2EE, and at least 2+ year of experience in Hands on design experience
* Sound technical knowledge on Java/J2EE with a working knowledge on REST, SOA, ESB, JMS, Web Services, Spring Framework, Angular integration would be added advantage
* Hands on experience on Micro service architecture and DevOPs is mandatory
* Must have completed at least 1 enterprise implementations in the capacity of Architect/Lead
* Should have worked on extensive back-end integration using API Gateway/ Middleware.
* Must have clarity in integration architecture and implementation using data exchange formats such as SOAP/REST/JSON
* Understand business needs and convert business requirements into a design and ability to see through the modular issues
* Must be able to independently handle overall architectural designs, envision NFR's and implement it
* Must have handled responsibility for the quality of architecture and design
* Ability to evaluate current state of architecture, platform and provide architectural recommendations to improve performance, scalability and reliability
* Ability to define physical, logical and technical architectures based on the requirements
* Should have rich experience in data migration and working in a highly integrated enterprise application
* Must be able to work with the Project Manager in mapping the project life cycle and manage roll-out and post-deliverable strategy

Key Responsibilities:

* Must have played a leadership role in leading a team of 15+ with an ability to lead and mentor people
* Experienced in planning, estimation, delivery model, customer facing roles and effective client interaction skills
* Experienced in Architecture Design, Solution Design, Technical consulting
* Must have had experience working at client location in one or more geographies and should be willing to travel
* Experienced in Agile, iterative and parallel development model is desirable

Other Responsibilities:

* Handle interviews to attract external talent for the role of Technical Architect/Tech Lead
* Nurture and groom in-house budding Architects
* Build 'Reference Architecture' for selected technical domains
* Involve in pre-sales process and lead creating effective proposals for large, complex systems
* Write 'Point of View' document on emerging technology trends
* Conduct internal sessions on Architecture and Technology related topics

Experience Required:

* 12+ years of industry experience

Education:

* Technical degree required; Computer Science degree desired
* Master's Degree is desirable

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent.
