We are currently seeking a Java Front Developer for our client in the Real Estate domain. This is a Contract-to-Hire position and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: 6+ Months Contract-to-Hire

Role: Java Front Developer

Primary Skills: ASP.NET

Role Description: The Java Front Developer would need to have at least 8 years of experience. For this role, you must be a talented and passionate software developer to join the team as they evolve and expand the public-facing web content management and marketing automation platform.

As a centerpiece of the digital marketing strategy, the team develops features for content authoring, integrates with other Client and partner platforms, and helps leverage marketing intelligence to deliver timely and relevant information to existing and prospective clients.

The client has been agile and cloud-first from inception and are aggressively adopting and evolving DevOps strategies. You would help develop new features on the Sitecore platform, enhance and maintain existing features, and deliver new integrations as they seek to expand the marketing technology capabilities.

Qualifications:

* Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 5+ years professional experience
* Professional experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC and Web API, HTML/CSS, and client-side JavaScript.
* Experience using modern object-oriented design patterns and principles, including SOLID
* Excellent written and oral communication skills

Bonus Qualifications:

* Sitecore SASS, jQuery Technologies in the stack Platform: Sitecore, ASP.NET MVC with Razor views, C#
* Client-side: Custom UI framework built in JavaScript/jQuery
* Infrastructure: Azure Cloud Services, Web Apps, Azure
* SQL Tools: Visual Studio, VSTS/TFS, TFS Release Management, Slack

Responsibilities:

* Write elegant and maintainable code using proven design patterns and techniques
* Contribute to design pattern evolution and selectively refactor existing code
* Work with other engineers to create specifications, estimate, design, develop, and unit test features as part of an agile team following Scrum practices
* Research and troubleshoot production issues and identify and remediate defects
* Foster operational excellence through ownership culture
* Learn, grow, and share knowledge with other team members through professional development, training, and participation in lunch and learns and hackathons.

Education: Any/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent.

Experience: Minimum 8 years

Relocation: This position will cover relocation expenses
