This role will be joining the P&L team within Equity Derivatives Technology. You will be working on an Equities Risk & PL application that supports both the front office traders (trader flash, Risk Signoff Scenarios, PL Explain) as well as finance and middle office (PL Explain bucketing, workflow)). This application started out as an Equity Derivatives application and is now used by all Equity trading globally as well as Finance controllers. The application is written in Java (backend) and C# / Winforms (front end) and interfaces with our risk analytics engine for valuation.

We are looking for a strong java developer to join the team to help support our key initiatives, our long business backlog of business feature requests as well as help evolve the architecture for this application within the Risk & PL ecosystem. This role gives the opportunity to Interface with Front office business and other teams (finance, quants, and other tech teams). We are looking for someone with a strong agile testing mindset and who is passionate about quality software and delivering to the business.

Qualifications

* Technical Background: Strong Java background, (C# / Python a plus)
* Business / Product Knowledge: financial derivatives, risk & pl, pricing, etc
* Agile Experience and Mindset -strong testing and design skills
* Strong communication skills
