Job Details

Responsible for the technical design, architecture and development of internal and external software applications. Provides leadership, direction and coordination to development resources in support of project and company objectives.

Responsibilities:

* Understanding of multi-tier web application architecture with appropriate levels of abstraction within various architectural layers.
* Designs and implements data integration and data access solutions across various legacy, enterprise, and departmental applications via web services, XML, SOA.
* Evaluates business requirements to determine most appropriate technical architecture and design patterns
* Designs and implements high performance, scalable enterprise information architecture and distributed applications design.
* Create and maintain web application architectural documentation and standards.
* Participates in code reviews and provides suggestions to improve quality and comply with architectural, design and coding standards and best practices.
* Create and maintain web application architectural documentation and standards.
* Facilitates knowledge transfer to development and support team members.
* Provides technical leadership to web development and production support team members.
* Maintain effective relationships with user department personnel.
* Provides technical support and troubleshoots applications issues and bugs.

Requirements:

* BS or BA degree in information systems, computer science, business administration or related work experience.


* 3+ years of commercial or enterprise large scale web application architecture, design and implementation, specifically Java J2EE, JSP/JSF.


* 3+ years design, development and implementation of Web Services and/or Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), specifically Web Methods


* 3+ years experiences with XML, Messaging Layers, APIs


* 3+ years of large scale distributed web application development in a team environment.


* Working experience and expertise with Struts 2, Spring and Hibernate


* Working experience with application server platforms (Jboss, webSphere, Apache Tomcat)


* Working experience with development tools including Eclipse, Subversion, Jira, Maven, Hudson/Jenkins


* Expertise with Agile (SCRUM), XP, and Kanban development practices.


* Experience with integrated testing /test driven development processes


* Experience with continuous integration practices


* Excellent documentation and knowledge transfer skills


* Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills


* Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities


* Experience with AngularJS
