Job description

Location: Arlington, VA

Clearance: Active Secret

Lead the planning, design, development, implementation, tuning, and optimization of Navy IT Service Management (ITSM) tools, including enterprise platform solutions, such as ServiceNow. Develop solution architectures to meet client requirements, including interoperability with legacy tools and data. Serve as the technical lead for system configuration of ServiceNow, including integration and data import between ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, and potentially other systems. Research, develop, and recommend solutions to integrate people, processes, and technologies to improve ITSM operations and Cybersecurity posture. Support strategy, concept of operations, and tactics, techniques, and procedures development applying DoD, Navy, and industry practices, including IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), ISO 20000, and the DoD Enterprise Service Management Framework (DESMF).

Basic Qualifications

* 10 years of experience as an AWS solutions architect, including leading the development and implementation of mid-sized to large-scale IT systems and solutions
* 2+ years of experience with DoD or DON IT, information systems, and communications, including consulting, project management, and leading solution development teams
* Experience with data integrations, including between ServiceNow and BMC Remedy
* Experience with ITSM tool suites, including implementations and migrations
* Knowledge of DON and Joint IT architecture and infrastructures
* Ability to deliver excellent products, services, or results
* AWS Certification
* Active Secret clearance
* AA or AS degree



Additional Qualifications

* Experience in programming with Web services, including REST, SOAP, and API
* Experience with IT Service Management data analysis, including ITSM data models, such as ServiceNow and BMC Remedy
* Knowledge of ServiceNow or BMC Remedy tool suites
* Ability to be agile
* BA or BS degree in IT or Information Systems
* ITIL v3 (2011) Foundation Certification, Intermediate or ITIL Expert Certification, or ServiceNow Administrator or Developer Certification a plus
