Job Description

IT System Engineering - (Systems Engineer on Price Model) CUS is responsible for operations at multiple shore sites and had administrative control over SURTASS ships (CTF-74 has operational control), which uses a large network of systems developed by PMS 485 and other Naval C4I program offices. Coordination between CUS and PMS 485 is critical to develop and maintain the IUSS networks, including the requisite IT/IA inspections, accreditations, and certifications. Due to the nature and complexity of IUSS support services, IT, and IA specific requirements are needed to maintain complicated systems configurations which support operations. The contractor shall provide direct onsite (for all IUSS shore sites, SURTASS, and PMS-485) systems management of various networks and systems and provide systems administration (including remote locations worldwide) of several servers and workstations and hundreds of associated network, cryptographic, and peripheral devices. The contractor shall provide 24/7/365 technical support, training, and help desk support to maintain systems/networks with seamless operational capability. The contractor shall provide knowledge management and webmaster services of various SharePoint Portals to deliver critical and informational data to tactical fleet users and staffs. The contractor shall create and maintain inventories/classified control of all procured IT Assets. The contractor shall provide backups and security for multiple terabytes of data. The contractor shall support the delivery and integration of software and hardware for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber and Intelligence (C5I) Systems. The contractor shall support all IUSS (CUS)/MSS (PMS-485) systems by developing progress reports, identifying risk/issues, offer solutions and providing resolution status. The contractor shall provide operational Subject Matter Expertise (SME), with input into Concept of Operations (CONOPS) development, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) services, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Development.
