Job Description

DESCRIPTION

* Provide Command support under the direction of SPAWAR HQ IT Operations in fulfilling NMCI and infrastructure service requirements for Old Town, and MIDS organizations.
* Coordinate training and provide guidance to command ACTRs to generate MACs through the proper submission tools (HPSM, NET 2.2)
* Process monthly order requirements submitted from command ACTRs
* Submit monthly Task Order / Modifications by an appropriate deadline to allow Financial Managers to approve the order in eMarketplace.
* Build out monthly orders once approved in eMarketplace to HPE for processing and deployment of services requested by the command ACTRs.
* Manage/Coordinate with SPAWAR Receiving Team with pickup/delivery of FASTRACK items and NGEN seats shipped by HPE or third-party vendor.
* Troubleshoot order requirements that have/have not been deployed.
* Perform User Acceptance Testing for new enhancements in NET version tool.
* Create Workflow and Standard Operating Procedures documentation for NGEN Service and Seat Delivery/Deployment process.
* Coordinate and Manage Annual Tech Refresh project for migration of users to new workstations.
* Provide back-up and training to ACTR duties.
* Communicate resolutions to Leadership regarding technical and service requirement issues under NGEN.
* Participate in weekly/monthly internal team and NGEN meetings.
* Provide exceptional customer service to staff and Leadership in support of the SPAWAR Headquarters Chief Information Office (CIO) at Old Town.
* Major Activities include:
* Maintain inventory of NMCI assets and CLIN services.
* Coordinate annual Tech Refresh.
* Prepare proper documentation completed by end-user to obtain access to the NGEN network.
* Manage access to the SPAWAR Guest Wireless network.

REQUIREMENTS

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills developed by working within the enterprise solution and the DoN customer.
* Strong working knowledge of IT Service Desk delivery, requests, and implementation.
* Process ownership and development of applications within IT Service Delivery (NMCI, Remedy, Service Manager 7, SReForms, .NET)
* DoD PKI Infrastructure, CAC/SIPR Token policies and processes.
* Working knowledge of Active Directory methods and implementation.
* Strong knowledge of System Database implementation and Data Center Consolidation for DoN.
* Active Secret Clearance
