Overview

LMI seeks an information technology (IT) strategic planner to provide enterprise IT strategy development and implementation support services in support of the facilities, construction programming and real estate programs of a DoD program management office. Programs such as installation level facilities planning, military density design, environmental planning, military housing planning and land use. The ideal candidate is familiar with Air Force programs and functions. Join our team of collaborative self-starters focused on delivering practical and efficient solutions to help our client.

Responsibilities

Working independently, and as a team member, you will be responsible for a wide range of activities in support of our DoD installations client. Representative responsibilities:

* Coordinate, consolidate, develop, and maintain IT governance and programmatic documents (e.g. AFIs and policy guidance); action plan(s) recommendations; task and inquiry responses; and issue resolution action plan(s).
* Provide detailed updates to leadership and stakeholders by participating in meetings/forums and coordinating, consolidating, developing and delivering/presenting associated meeting materials (e.g. slides, after action reports, minutes).
* Plan, schedule, and facilitate IT meetings and summits to include business process mapping as required.
* Develop, document and coordinate POA&M for any effort needed to address IT requirements across the Total Force AF installations.
* Coordinate with various POCs from other organizations and agencies to request and track updates to POA&Ms and milestones.
* Develop the IT strategy and coordinate and collaborate client POCs to run the IT governance structure to include scheduling, coordinating, and drafting minutes for the IT Governance Panel along with any associated enterprise level efforts (Rapid Improvement Events (RIEs), BPRs, etc.).
* Schedule and provide IT updates to leadership.
* Record and draft meeting minutes for IT related meetings, summits, and conferences and track action items.
* Coordinate and collaborate with various stakeholders to develop, update, consolidate, and distribute slides for the IT updates and briefings.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree required
* Active Secret clearance required
* Five (5) years of experience
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products to include MS Project and Visio.
* Understanding of AF corporate staffing processes, A4C strategic partnerships and interactions with other Air Force organizations.
* Knowledge in AF CE mission areas
* Ability to collaborate with and lead complex teams.
* Must have the ability to analyze, interpret, and coordinate strategies and guidance from Senior AF leaders.
* Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders
* Ability to effectively solve problems
* Strong communication skills, both oral and written
* A true team player who maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic environment
