We are seeking a qualified candidate to serve as an IT Strategic Planning Specialist to provide subject matter expertise toward extending the DOD Joint Information Environment and other Information centric initiatives to the Joint Force Headquarters-State (JFHQ-S) to enable delivery of National Guard operational capabilities. We are looking for someone with demonstrated knowledge of DoD information architecture requirements, strong communication and organizational skills, and with a proven track record for managing and coordinating across multiple stakeholders.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Advise the customer on opportunities to shape DoD strategic IT initiatives, policies, and programs and architectures to include NG Joint IT operational and technical requirements supporting National Guard operations
* Document NG Enterprise IT program management processes
* Identify and manage goals and objectives to achieve the customers desired end-state by maintaining and reporting on a project management plan of required actions
* Advise the customer on resource requirements and risks associated with achieving goals and objectives

REQUIREMENTS:

* B.A or B.S degree. Four years of directly relevant program management experience drafting, interpreting, and analyzing cybersecurity policy
* 5-10 years of IT experience including 5 years of IT Strategic planning within the DoD
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* DOD-Secret Clearance Required

ADDITIONAL/DESIRED SKILLS:

* Demonstrated knowledge of DoD and Federal IT and Enterprise Architecture policies
* Knowledge of shared situational awareness, DoD Joint Information Environment
* Knowledge of NGB Domestic Operations and JFHQ-S information requirements
* Knowledge of the Mission Parther Environment
* Experience with supporting DOTMLPF analysis and/or Joint Capabilities Assessments
* Experience supporting DoD IT planning at the Battalion level or higher
* Hold current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in good standing
