Introduction

Your Role and Responsibilities

IT Specialist, IBM Corporation, Armonk, New York and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US: Provide Services related to the development, maintenance, and support of client systems. Coordinate and provide direction to resources responsible for providing accurate efficient services. Responsible for system, change requests and development projects. Responsible for support and resolution of critical issues, tasks priorities, work allocation, procedural standards, and client meetings. Utilize Agile and DevOps; Point of Sale Applications; Database Development, Design, and Administration expertise; Operating Systems (zLinux, Solaris, HPUX, and Windows Server); Process Maintenance Tools (SCCD, JIRA, Slack); and Scripting and Job Scheduling Tools. Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related (employer will accept two (2) years of post-secondary study plus two (2) years of IT experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree) and two (2) years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Systems Engineer, or related. Two (2) years of experience must include utilizing Agile and DevOps; Point of Sale Applications; Database Development, Design, and Administration expertise; Operating Systems (zLinux, Solaris, HPUX, and Windows Server); Process Maintenance Tools (SCCD, JIRA, Slack); and Scripting and Job Scheduling Tools.
