Job Title: IT SalesForce Architect Consultant

Background: ITE/ITO division is currently working on SalesForce implementation in the bank. We are looking for a subject matter expertise for SalesForce Platform with emphasis on Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, Communities, Einstein Analytics and other related applications (in the context of single org multi-business unit environment) to assure that best practices are implemented, and the modules and applications are efficiently and effectively used to support Inter-American Development Bank business requirements. The current Salesforce platform supports a centralized marketing and communications business model and the roll out of a Bank wide Customer Relationship Management practices through a phased implementation.

The team: The Information Technology Department (ITE) is the focal point for all IT services (infrastructure and applications), architecture, policies and security at Headquarters and Country Offices. It is also responsible for formulating the Bank's IT Strategy, its implementation and providing related tools, solutions and services

Key Responsibilities:

* Work in coordination with other Salesforce Solution Architects in solution design, blueprinting and delivery of solutions and technologies to meet business goals and requirements
* Technical and Solution Architecture, detailed design, prototyping and testing, in an advisory capacity or hands-on, including the preparation and / or authoring of related artefacts (documentary and otherwise).
* Undertaking analysis of business and technical requirements, to technical solution design covering Application Architecture through to Enterprise Architecture; end-to-end Solution Design (across Salesforce and other technologies), and solution estimating and planning in collaboration
* Formulation and implementation of Technical & Technology Strategies based on the salesforce.com suite of products and services.
* Detailed planning, coordination, management and execution of Technology Strategies to implement, integrate and embed Salesforce-based solutions in our existing technology infrastructure.
* Define and drive strategies to scale technical delivery by means of automation and / or other innovations.
* Define and drive technology roadmaps as relates to the salesforce.com suite of products and for the ITE and Business, both in the HQ and Country Offices.
* Develop relationships with Business and Technical stakeholders to reinforce and extend Architects role as trusted advisor.
* Estimation and resource planning associated with solution design and delivery, defining standards, solutions and schedules that can be, working closely with ITE, Business, and Leadership teams to do so.
* Participate in preparation and evaluation of RFI's and RFP's from time-to-time as needed.
* Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Marketing or a related discipline is required.
* Certification in Salesforce Technical Architect (CTA)
* In lieu of CTA, certification to a minimum of:

o At least one Developer Track Certification (Platform Developer I or II or Digital Developer), AND…

o At least two Cloud Consultant Certification from for Community, Service or Marketing

Experience:

* A minimum of 2 years of experience developing Salesforce Lightning customizations (Apex/VF), integrations, and developing and executing data migrations.
* A minimum of 4 years of experience creating the technical architecture for complex Salesforce implementations.
* Proven experience defining and managing Multi org and single org Salesforce environments.
* Experience in Public sector implementations in Latin American Countries desirable.
* 5 years' experience defining, designing, delivering and deploying Salesforce based technical solutions, in the capacity of accountable or responsible contributor.

Skills:

* Demonstrable expert level knowledge of Salesforce and its underlying platform architecture and technical workings.
* Strong background in Cloud Computing solutions: cloud computing strategy, systems design, implementation and management.
* Proven ability to foster a team-oriented environment.
* Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
* Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, and ability to present to a variety of audiences (executive to technically detailed audiences).
* Demonstrated knowledge of XML, SQL, HTTP/HTTPS, and EAI processes.
* Familiarity with multiple implementation standards and methodologies.
* Experience in object-oriented software engineering.
* Must be proficient in Spanish and English.

Opportunity Summary:

Type of contract: Full-Time Consultant

Length of contract: 12 months

Location: Headquarters, Washington D.C, United States of America.

Payment and Conditions: Compensation will be determined in accordance with Bank's policies and procedures. The Bank, pursuant to applicable policies, may contribute toward travel and moving expenses. In addition, candidates must be citizens of an IDB member country.

Visa and Work Permit: The Bank, pursuant to applicable policies, may submit a visa request to the applicable immigration authorities; however, the granting of the visa is at the discretion of the immigration authorities. Notwithstanding, it is the responsibility of the candidate to obtain the necessary visa or work permits required by the authorities of the country(ies) in which the services will be rendered to the Bank. If a candidate cannot obtain a visa or work permit to render services to the Bank the contractual offer will be rescinded

Consanguinity: Pursuant to applicable Bank policy, candidates with relatives (including the fourth degree of consanguinity and the second degree of affinity, including spouse) working for the IDB, IDB Invest, or MIF as staff members or Complementary Workforce contractuals, will not be eligible to provide services for the Bank.
