Opportunity:

Point B is looking for IT Project Managers for an independent consulting position with our team in the greater North Chicago area.

Responsibilities:

Work alongside Point B consultants on critical business and technology initiatives with top clients

Further the leadership skills you need to be successful as a management consultant

Build your skills and experience working across a variety of industries and functional areas

Create your unique career experience in an environment with a broad range of opportunities

Exercise your entrepreneurial spirit and maintain your flexibility as an independent

Required Experience / Qualifications:

Manage all aspects of IT/systems/technology related projects

Enterprise applications, IT infrastructure and/or digital project experience strongly preferred

Led project teams and/or work-streams

Utilized project management and SDLC methodologies

Ability to work in a matrix managed environment where many resources are embedded part time on a particular team

Escalate issues early and provide concise issue descriptions to upper level management coupled with recommended paths for resolution

Executive presence and good presentation skills

Dependable and solid follow up with a good 'customer service' attitude

Ability to be firm about deadlines

A strong bias for action and a passionate customer focus

Past experience as independent consultant or in management consulting

Financial services, healthcare, pharma, life sciences and retail industry experience is a plus

Bachelor's Degree in Business or Technology discipline preferred

Agile / Scrum certifications and/or training ideal

Ability to work on projects in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago
