Overview

LMI is seeking a skilled IT Project Manager.

The IT Project Manager oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between the Program Manager and the Technical team. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Responsible for ensuring contract requirements are being accomplished with high quality and within required timeframes. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Directly supervises team assigned to the task work.

Responsibilities

* Provide timely and efficient IT support including procurement, acquisition, project management, and administrative support.
* Establish and maintain strategies for project/system administration to ensure continuity of business operations and timely recovery in the event of disaster.
* Collect, store, and analyze data relevant to projects/systems to perform and report accurate root causal analysis of all related issues and to support trend analysis and forecasting.
* Effectively manage the procurement and maintenance of all supplies, materials, and supporting software licenses and service agreements required to ensure projects/systems meet minimum performance and availability requirements.
* Ensure effective change control and configuration management of all projects/systems to establish and maintain consistency of each project/system performance and its functional and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information throughout its life.
* In collaboration with the government develop and maintain standard operating procedures for operation, maintenance, and repair of projects/systems.
* Ensure all projects/system-related data and documentation is added to and maintained current within Database and Document Library to provide efficient access to a complete and current source of relevant structured and unstructured data.
* Ensure the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of production projects/systems.

Qualifications

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:

* Must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

* Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience;

REQUIRED SKILLS:

* Excellent written and oral communication skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work under tight deadlines.
* Ability to translate technical terms to business users.
* Ability to lead effective meetings in both, in- person and virtual collaborative environments.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

* Experience with managing IT projects in any of the following areas: Network Infrastructure; Cyber Security; Database Systems; Server and Workstation Development; Enterprise Data Storage and Platforms.
* Experience with managing projects in the Federal Government environment, utilizing Enterprise Performance Life Cycle (EPLC).
* Experience with IT planning processes and program/non-program budgeting, IT governance, staff administration, and other administrative functions highly desirable.
* Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Technical Field
* Experience with directly supervising staff.
* ITIL,PMP or Agile certifications
