As Point72, a leading multi-strategy Hedge Fund, continues to reimagine the future of investing, we are looking for a bright member to join our Execution Trading Support team. The role requires working with Technology and Investment Professionals to ensure timely investigation and resolution of issues that arise on a day to day basis.

What you'll do

* Support a multi-fund global proprietary equity OMS
* Support portfolio management tools
* Provide risk management support: Product access and trading limits
* Third party EMS management: Futures, options, F/X, bonds and derivatives trading
* Provide FIX support: Setup, monitor and troubleshoot FIX connectivity problems
* Establish strong partnerships with PMs, traders, developers, QA, risk, compliance and operations
* Provided end-to-end incident resolution for clients in a timely and effective manner
* Collaborate with the trading professionals to manage broker relationships
* Escalate critical incidents and identify patterns in recurring incidents
* Improve overall quality and level of service

What's required

* 2+ years of experience in a support role in a trading floor environment
* Understanding of the trade lifecycle, back office, and settlement processes
* Knowledge of FIX Messaging protocol and setting up FIX connections
* Experience in supporting order flow management between trading desk and brokers using FIX protocol
* Experience with Algorithms, Neovest, REDI, Trading Technologies (TT) preferred
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a demanding environment
* Experience with third party application integration
* Proactive, self-starter with the aptitude to learn
* Commitment to the highest ethical standards

What's preferred

* Proficient writing SQL queries
* A thorough understanding of the financial markets with a strong understanding of trading applications
* Hands-on technical experience in hedge fund, investment bank, brokerage or mutual fund
* Well organized, detail oriented and able to focus and prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
