WHO WE SEEK

We seek a service-oriented and self-motivated professional to join our IT & Operations team. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, a creative problem-solver, detailed oriented, and highly organized with sound judgment. The candidate should demonstrate commitment to RPA's values of integrity, diversity, quality and trust.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The IT & Operations Associate will be the main point of contact for desktop support, playing a proactive role in the maintenance and administration of workstations, laptops, and mobile devices including inventory. The IT & Operations Associate will also be a point of contact for general office management, including interfacing with vendors and building management staff.

Main responsibilities include:

+ Assisting users with troubleshooting by providing end user support and technical assistance in the use of computers (workstations & laptops), and software applications, including working with hardware and software vendors to resolve any related issues.

+ Setting up and configuring desktop computers, peripherals and accounts.

+ Installing, maintaining and configuring hardware and software systems according to company policies

+ Troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of computer equipment, including computer and peripheral testing and diagnoses, and escalating corrective procedures to other technical resources as appropriate.

+ Assisting in the installation and maintenance of telephone system.

+ Ordering and stocking equipment and supplies as necessary.

+ Maintaining inventory of all IT equipment, software and software licenses.

+ Providing support for all AV requirements for meetings.

+ Acting as a customer liaison with managed service provider, proactively communicating, resolving, and/or initiating the resolution of problems and concerns.

+ Providing reception backup support as needed.

+ Contributing to team goals by accomplishing related duties, including processing of expenses as assigned.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: A bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, information systems or related field is required.

Technical Skills and Prior Experience

+ 3+ years of related experience

+ Clear, effective communications skills - both written and verbal

+ Exceptional customer service, problem solving and troubleshooting skills

+ Ability to work productively independently and under limited supervision

+ Accuracy and ability to pay close attention to details is vital

+ Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

+ Eager to learn multiple facets of Operations

+ Proficiency in Windows 10 and Office 365 is required

+ Experience with cloud based software a plus

+ Knowledge of NetSuite, Concur, Fluxx or grants management software preferred

+ Knowledge of and commitment to the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors is a plus

+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds a must
