Walsh is currently looking for an IT Field Support Specialist for our Chicago Heavy Civil Division supporting the CTA RPM Project.
The IT Field Support Specialist is responsible for providing service and support to users via phone, ticketing system, or walk-ups for computer hardware, software and mobile devices. This individual will also support the infrastructure Project Manager with jobsite setups as needed and assist network engineers with various tasks at jobsite or Regional Offices.

* Bachelors Degree in Information Technology preferred or equivalent discipline * At least 2 years' experience in IT support related field - will consider internships and part time experience as well * Must have a strong ability to work with many customers including guests and business partners in addition to supporting your team * Strong follow up skills and ability to resolve IT related issues in a timely manner * Exceptional customer service etiquette and responsiveness is required * Occasional evening/weekend hours will be required and occasional travel throughout the area * Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast pace environment * Must be a self-starter and not necessarily waiting for direction * Must be able to work with multi-discipline teams * Possess a 'can do' and enthusiatic attitude
