The Exploration and Mission Support Operation (EMS) within the Civil Group has an opening for an Enterprise Architect. This full-time, funded position is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Enterprise Architect to provide on-program support to large, complex IT Infrastructure and Services programs, as

well as supporting proposal/capture activities and rotational support to a diverse business portfolio.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in IT architecture design and implementation; experience designing and building

cloud-compatible, service-oriented, highly scalable, and web-enabled IT architecture; experience in IT lifecycle management and technology modernization for Federal IT customers; experience modernizing and transitioning legacy IT systems

(e.g. mainframes) to cloud based architectures and environments; and experience in the integration of disparate commercial, cloud, and open-source technologies to meet Federal customer performance, compliance, and recovery requirements.

As a senior technologist in the organization, the successful candidate will interface with program managers, technology leaders, and senior leadership to establish technical direction, and with senior Federal customers on technology requirements,

innovation opportunities, and performance optimization.

Basic Qualifications

* BS degree and 12 - 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 - 13 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain.
* ITIL Intermediate Certification. Minimum of two (2) high-level IT certifications (e.g. CCNP, LPIC-3, MCSE, etc.).
* Demonstrated experience in IT Enterprise Architecture design and implementation.
* Experience in supporting Federal IT customers.
* A wide range of knowledge across IT domains, including networking, storage, cloud, data center hosting, disaster recovery, and cyber security
* Experience leading multidisciplinary IT teams for technical transitions and insertions, including developing and presenting IT engineering and proposal gate reviews
* Ability to travel depending on primary location
* Ability to adapt to supporting multiple initiatives concurrently
* Ability to conduct executive level briefings on technology for both internal corporate leadership and senior Federal officials, with the ability to explain technical concepts and designs to non-technical leadership, tying technology insertions to key business outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
* Experience supporting large, complex proposal efforts for Federal IT customers
