Overview:

Based in Northern, VA, Axiologic Solutions LLC has opportunities for you to become part of our high-quality team that delivers innovative solutions to key Federal clients. We are seeking a Sr. Technical Advisor/Architect to support our government client. This position is located at Fort Belvoir, VA.

Note: Position is contingent based on awarded contract.

Responsibilities:

* Researches and evaluates advanced technologies and their applicability to help satisfy operational intelligence and Information Technology (IT) capability gaps
* Performs assessments and provides insights that can be applied to the development advanced analytics, processing, and communications capabilities.
* Performs assessments and provides insights that contribute to recommendations for IT architecture improvements.
* Makes recommendations and develops plans to integrate commercial, laboratory, and university developed advanced technologies into INSCOM, Army, DoD or other operational baselines.
* Hypothesis testing - able to develop hypothesis and test them with experiments. Advises and assists Government PMs in management of sponsored technology initiatives.

Qualifications:

* Must have an active/current TS/SCI and must pass CI Poly.
* PhD in area of Sciences or Engineering with at least 12 years' experience with Data Sciences management of Technologies programs/projects -or- MS in area of Sciences or Engineering with at least 20 years' experience in Data Science and management of Technologies programs/projects.
* Understands Data Science concepts
* Possesses a working knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, Java, Ruby, Clojure, Matlab, Pig or SQL
* Possesses a working knowledge of Hadoop, Hive and/or MapReduce.
* Familiar with the following concepts: Natural Language Processing - the interactions between computers and humans; Machine learning -using computers to improve algorithms; Conceptual modelling; Statistical analysis; Predictive modelling;
* Have excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
* Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure.
* Strong customer service orientation.
* Excellent creative problem-solving skills.

Travel Requirements:

* Travel may be required both inside and outside the Washington National Capital Region (NCR).
