iOS Engineer

1 year+ contract

Dallas, Texas

IMMEDIATE new job opening for an iOS Engineer to join our team and work on-site at our client's global HQ's in Dallas, Texas. The iOS Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, documentation, and troubleshooting the major iOS application in addition to new technology projects involving iOS. The ideal candidate is passionate and engaged with the latest technology trends and willing to share possibilities with the broader team.

Responsibilities:

o Implement new requirements within our agile delivery methodology while following our established architectural principles

o Write clean, concise code that is stable, extensible, and unit-tested appropriately

o Communicate frequently and effectively with other engineers on the team in addition to our product managers, scrum masters, and creative team

o Create working proofs of concept including detailed documentation

o Debug and resolve production issues as needed

Required Skills:

o 2+ years of experience with full cycle software development, preferably in an agile Experience should include the following: design, coding, testing, release, and maintenance

o 1+ years of experience with iOS application development with at least one app shipped to the Apple App Store

o Bachelor's degree

o Experience with Xcode (interface Builder, Instruments)

o Experience/good working knowledge of Swift and Objective-C

o Experience with UIKit, Core Animation, KVO, Core Data, URL loading and web services

o Experience/ working knowledge with various architectural design patterns (MVVM, MVC)

o Familiarity with Test Driven Development is a huge plus

o Familiarity with agile software tools such as JIRA

o Excellent verbal and written communication skills

o Passionate and engaged with the latest technology trends and willing to share possibilities with the broader team
