Americans spend over $400 billion per year on prescriptions and too many people simply can't afford the medications they desperately need. Join GoodRx and help us solve meaningful problems that help us make people's lives better every day.

About the Role

You'll be working on anything and everything iOS. We work closely with the design and product teams, and your job will be to bring those products to life (making our customers happy) with quality, reusable, and performant code (making you and the rest of the engineers happy). You'll be responsible for building features on the full mobile stack, from the database to the UI, as well as eliminating bugs, cleaning up performance, and refactoring outdated code. We always like to adhere to iOS design principles and best practices, but we also like to think outside the box when the need arises. You'll also be responsible for maintaining and improving our continuous integration and automation, because keeping our internal systems in tip-top shape is important too.

Responsibilities:

* Build new features from the ground up while working closely with design, product, and other teams
* Collaborate with the mobile apps team to design clean, reusable, and resilient high-level architectures
* Write unit tests for new features, and improve coverage for existing ones
* Update and maintain continuous integration tools
* Maintain existing code by fixing bugs and monitoring app performance
* Create and participate in code reviews

Skills & Qualifications:

* 3+ years of iOS development experience, including a strong familiarity with Apple frameworks and object-oriented design best practices
* Experience with standard Apple tools such as Interface Builder with autolayout and Xcode Instruments
* Deep understanding of core software concepts, including networking, security, memory management, multi-threading, and application life-cycle management
* Knowledge of latest mobile emerging technologies, architectures, and trends
* Proficient in debugging and performance tuning
* Experience communicating with REST APIs
* Familiarity with managing Apple development tools and iTunes Connect
* Ability to integrate 3rd party SDKs and APIs

Good To Have:

* Familiarity with common 3rd party libraries (such as Alamofire, Realm, etc.)
* Understanding of functional reactive programming (we use RxSwift)
* Experience integrating Swift with Objective-C code
* Ability to maintain code that supports older versions of iOS
* Knowledge of the Apple Push Notification System
* Experience with Fastlane automation tools
* Familiarity with Android
