Description

SAIC is seeking a Senior International Cooperation Specialist who will be responsible for facilitating the detailed coordination, execution, and follow-up of foreign visits, both domestically and overseas for government officials. Additional duties include:

* Apply critical thinking and creative problem solving and present recommendations on engagement with foreign nations for cooperative research and development opportunities.
* Act as a foreign nation expert as outlined in assigned country portfolio; provide briefings to senior government personnel on political-military issues and/or technological strengths of these nations.
* Participate in external organization country specific forums.
* Prepare and manage functional products to include quarterly reports, reference materials, database management, and briefings and read ahead packages as requested by the government.
* Initiate and lead the establishment of bilateral international cooperative agreements between the DoD and foreign nations' for research and development; leveraging knowledge of Pentagon stakeholder coordination requirements to include OUSD(R&E), OUSD(A&S), and military departments.
* Complete additional assignments for SAIC on an as directed basis ( e.g., contribution to proposal reviews and team meetings, training products, seminars, etc.)

Qualifications

* Minimum of active/current TS clearance (with SCI eligibility).
* Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience.
* Ability to constructively engage and resolve challenging situations.
* Independent self-starter, proactive, and professionally assertive.
* Proficiency with MS Office Suite (MS Word, PowerPoint and Outlook).
* Proficiency in DoD International Cooperative Agreements and negotiation skills.
* Knowledge in military research, development, test, and evaluation practices within the DoD.
* Ability to be the face of an organization to foreign nations; take direction well and liaise effectively upwards and across organizational divides; produce well thought, polished, professional products for distribution to government client.
* Must have a valid U.S. Passport.
* Foreign travel required.
