Responsibilities/Qualification

MacAulay-Brown Inc., an Alion Company is seeking onsite Intelligence Analyst Subject Matter Expert 3/4 to provide analytical support to the FBI Insider Threat Office ( (InTO). The office serves as the central coordinating component for the FBI's Insider Threat Detection and Prevention Program. The candidates will support the InTO mission to identify new tools required for a robust Insider Threat Program, identify trends, and incorporate new data sets into all source analysis, working closely with internal administrative and investigative components to detect and deter insider threats.

Candidates must have a proficiency inunderstanding security risk management concepts; a security relatedcertification; and experience with intelligence-focused operation environment.

Intelligence Analyst Subject Matter Expert 3/4 responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

* Uses functional and/or subject-matter expertise from direct industry experience to assess the organizational, operational, and functional baseline for law enforcement, homeland defense, emergency preparedness, and security clients;
* Works with senior government officials and executives to provide industry vision and enterprise strategic direction;
* May serve as an expert to help agencies identify and engage a range of stakeholders, including local, state, and federal agencies;
* Guides identification of systems, mission engineering, and business process inadequacies and deficiencies that affect the functional area¿s ability to support/meet organizational threats;
* Participates in strategy sessions, strategic assessments, and design reviews to validate the enterprise approach and associated work products;
* Analyze data, develop information, and assess available solutions or alternative methods of proceeding;
* Provides expert consulting and advisory expertise in organizational and vulnerability assessments, intelligence and threat analysis, and resolution of highly complex projects and problems;
* Recognized for expertise and ability to identify industry issues and trends; and
* May oversee and manage projects, programs, and/or tasks.

Intelligence Analyst Subject Matter Expert 4: Advanced Degree and a minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant experience are required. Twenty (20) years¿ work experience preferred in national security or security-related matters with an emphasis on IT.

Intelligence Analyst Subject Matter Expert 3:Advanced Degree and a minimum of twelve (12) years of relevant experience are required. Twenty (20) years¿ work experience preferred in national security or security-related matters with an emphasis on IT.

* Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field or non - technical Bachelor¿s degree with twenty (20) years substantial practical experience in a technical field.
* Also, highly desirable: proficiency in understanding security risk management concepts; a security related certification; and experience with Intelligence-focused operation environment.
* Familiarization with assessing risks in business processes including those with IT systems;
* Critical thinker and solution finder for complex IT security situations and/or business processes vulnerable to insider threats;
* Familiarization with IT monitoring tools; configuration management; managing or maintaining user accounts and system privileges; risk and vulnerability assessments; operational threat assessments;
* Knowledge of network protocols; network security; information assurance management; cyber security capability validations; automated vulnerability scanning tools
* Must have excellent communications and interpersonal skills;
* Proficiency with word processing and Microsoft Office applications(e.g., SharePoint);
* Proficiency with risk assessments tools (e.g., Risk Vision)
* • •Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously;
* Ability to assist in preparation of presentations;
* US citizenship is required.
* Must possess and maintain TS/SCI clearance and CI Polygraph
