Position Overview:

Under the general supervision of the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Manager, the GSOC Intelligence Analyst I performs the bulk of monitoring, response, and communication duties within the operational environment of the 24/7 GSOC. The GSOC Intelligence Analyst I responsibilities are twofold: to serve as a communications focal point for analyst support services for client staff globally; and to monitor and respond to real-time intelligence requests. This position requires rotating shift work, to include nights, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

This is a temporary position that will run from 15 August 2019 to 15 November 2019.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

* Monitors intelligence for escalation, and associated communications for:
* Incidents impacting client's personnel or facilities
* People Risk Management (travelers, expats, and facilities)
* Social media and open source intelligence
* Executive protection team (advance intelligence reports, check-ins, etc.)
* Produces bespoke intelligence briefs and reporting tailored to client-specific needs
* Issues all external messaging (including mass communication messages) as tasked
* Assists in managing emergency incidents by using judgment and skills according to commonly accepted Incident Management best practices and client policies and procedures
* Recognizes crisis situations and initiates proactive action, with support from the GSOC manager
* Be available to support the larger GSOC team during surge conditions

Experience, Functional and Technical Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in related field required
* 1+ years' experience in related field required
* Exposure to critical thinking, risk analysis and incident management
* Intelligence gathering, analysis and alerting experience preferred
* Effective problem solving and time management skills
* Foreign travel and experience

Skills/Abilities:

* Ability to take initiative, multi-task and prioritize under pressure
* Strong written and verbal communication skills; accurate typing skills
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills preferred
* Strong customer service skills, especially in person and over the phone; ability to communicate across varying professional levels
* Ability to work rotating shift schedule (including nights, weekends and holiday)
* Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, as well as intensive writing and technology aptitude screenings as a condition of employment
